By the time she graduated from high school, Megan McArthur had already become a successful actress and a professional writer.
But, after graduating from college, she realized that she couldn’t afford the tuition for her graduate studies.
Megan McArthons experience is a common one: She didn’t know where to start.
For Megan, a single mother of three, the answer to how to earn a living was simple: She enrolled in an online course and started a small business.
In 2015, Megan’s business, The First Step, launched.
Megan, who has two kids and has never taken a degree before, decided to share her story with the world.
“I felt like it was my duty to tell my story,” she said.
Megan wanted to share the story of a woman who wanted to help others, but could not find the resources to do so.
She wanted to change the world and inspire others.
“You just gotta believe in yourself,” she told ABC News.
“And you gotta believe that you can do anything.”
Now, as an independent entrepreneur and entrepreneur in her own right, Megan is the author of a new book, “How to be an Entrepreneur Without Being a CEO,” and a contributor to ABC News, The New York Times, Business Insider, and Entrepreneur.com.
As a result of her success and her business’ success, Megan received the 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year award from Entrepreneurship magazine and the 2017 Entrepreneur Award from the American Academy of Entrepreneurships.
She is also an award-winning blogger, entrepreneur, and writer who writes about entrepreneurship, life, and the future of women.
