The Oscar-winning director and actor Warwick Anderson has said he is proud of the “greatest accomplishment” of his life.

Speaking to the Independent, Mr Anderson, 71, said: “I think that’s the most amazing achievement in the world.

“When I started out in film, there was a real sense of self-doubt. “

“I always said I wasn’t going to make the best film I ever made because I’d made so many great films and I’ve made a lot of great films. “

“But I’m proud of that, and I think I’ve created something that’s very special.” “
