In an unprecedented move, Rokutex has announced that it will no longer be running advertisements for its games.
The decision was announced in a statement issued on the RTE website.
Rokuten is one of the few companies to survive the onslaught of video games with a strong presence in the Japanese market.
Its games include Naruto: Shippuden, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, Pokemon Sun/Moon, Fire Emblem: Awakening and other titles.ROKUTEX has previously defended its decision to not run adverts in the games and said that it is working to bring back its old ads in the future.
“It is unfortunate that Rokuteex will no long be able to continue to be a part of the games industry,” it said.
“We would like to thank Rokutingex for their continued support to the industry and wish them the best in their future endeavours.”
