A British woman has been named the ‘most powerful woman in the world’ after she quit smoking to win the £1million ‘most ambitious’ modelling contract she had wanted to hold for years.
Samantha Dorey-Ochotycki, 29, who was previously a model and actor, was one of more than 100 women who have taken part in the ‘Million Dollar Listing’ for the agency L’Auberge du Soleil.
She has been a model since 2012, having previously worked for Bottega Veneta and the L’Oréal cosmetics brand. “

The agency said: ‘We are delighted to have Samantha Dorys as one of the most influential women in the history of the Million Dollar list.’
Ms Dory-ochotyk is a model from Poland who was born in 1989.
She studied at the Royal College of Art and Design in London and earned her MFA from London’s prestigious School of Oriental and African Studies in 2013.
She then joined the prestigious agency L ‘Aubergé du Soleillier, which works with the likes of the likes the Oscar-winning director and Oscar-nominated actor Mark Ruffalo.
‘Her work ethic and her dedication to her craft has been infectious,’ said L’Oreal’s chief creative officer, Jean-Louis Leclerc.
‘This was a really important role for her, a very personal, and a very important role to me.’

Ms Ochotys life story was chronicled in the 2012 film The Wolf of Wall Street.
It was about her family’s struggle with cancer and how she overcame it to have a successful career as a model.
The film’s producers were so impressed with her work, they hired her to appear in the movie.
The Wolf Of Wall Street stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Amy Adams.
The model was awarded a Golden Globe nomination for her work in the film and in 2015, she was voted one of Hollywood’s 100 most influential people.
She has previously said she believes she has achieved a great deal for herself and for women in general.
‘I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to work with such an incredible team,’ she said.
‘It is so great to be recognised.’
